Orca 3.8 Wetsuit Mens

Summary: Not a cheap suit but incredibly buoyant, great for longer swims
Rating: ★★★★☆

Orca’s popular mid-range triathlon wetsuit, the 3.8, is incredibly buoyant thanks to what they call its “core equilibrium”, panels of 5mm Yamamoto AeroDome material which are incorporated into the entire torso area of the suit. This special neoprene contains multiple air cavities, giving the suit an enviable buoyancy throughout the midsection and placing your legs and arms in a great position for a streamlined swim. In addition to this, there are extra buoyancy cells on the sleeves, helping to lift your elbow throughout the stroke and prevent fatigue towards the end of the swim. The sleeves of the 3.8 triathlon wetsuit also feature AquaTread panels which are designed to increase the power you can generate with each arm stroke. Ideal for longer distance swims such as Ironman or 70.3, or standalone open-water swims, the 3.8 wetsuit has clever technology in the underarm area which transfers heat in order to keep the body temperature regulated over time. This is a great choice of suit if you have a larger budget to spend and are taking your triathlon or open-water swimming exploits to the next level.
